Explore the evidence for and application of lifestyle as medicine for mental health conditions.
Around 1 in 7 Australian adults today are taking antidepressant medications, which is evidence for the mental health crisis we are facing. While medications have an important role to play, there is overwhelming evidence that numerous lifestyle-related factors are beneficial for the prevention, management and treatment of mental health conditions, especially affective disorders. In this webinar we shall explore these lifestyle factors and how they can be implemented to benefit people suffering from mental health conditions.
