Board Certification Exam Nov-Dec 2022

Register here for Certification in Lifestyle Medicine – 26 Nov-11 Dec 2022 cohort

To be held at Prometric Testing Centres around Australia and New Zealand during the ‘Global Exam Week’ which runs from 26 November to 11 December 2022. Each candidate will make an individual appointment time for their exam with one of the testing centres.

Currently some Prometric Testing Centres are closed due to Covid, but Melbourne and Sydney centres appear to be operating at the time of writing this – a list of available testing centres in each country will be provided nearer the time.  

Registrations for this exam will close on 31 August 2022.

Includes:

  • Non-refundable registration fee of $440
  • Exam fee for the 120-150 item 4 hour exam
  • Peer-review and feedback (eg: for case study) as needed
  • Self-guided education materials, access to peer-led study group and networking
  • Access to our Education Coordinator to assist your candidature

Does not include:

  • Courses you may undertake in order to prepare for the exam, eg:
    • Foundations of Lifestyle Medicine Board Review Course (offered by ACLM)    (OR)
    • Lifestyle Medicine Core Competencies Program (offered by ACLM/ACPM)
  • Other activities you may undertake to meet the requirements of certification, eg:
    • Attending 10-hours of Lifestyle Medicine specific CME/CPD

Categories of Certification are as follows:

  • Certified Physician (Medical doctors)
    • Certified by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine
    • Requirements: 150 item exam, case study, 10 hours CME/CPD
    • $1760 exam fee + non-refundable registration fee of $440 = $2200 (ASLM Members save $220)
  • Certified Professional (Masters/PhD level health professionals)
    • Certified by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine
    • Requirements: 120 item exam, case study, 10 hours CME/CPD
    • $1430 exam fee + non-refundable registration fee of $440 = $1870 (ASLM Members save $220)
  • Certified Practitioner (Degree level health professionals)
    • Certified by the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (not IBLM certified)
    • Requirements: 120 item exam, case study, 10 hours CME/CPD
    • $1430 exam fee + non-refundable registration fee of $440 = $1870 (ASLM Members save $220)
    • Can be upgraded to ‘Professional’ level on award of Masters or PhD within 3 years
